Redesign of global pricing strategy

JSW supported a client in the systematic evaluation of his global pricing strategy. Current pricing and rebate schemes were analyzed based on an in-depth evaluation of actual sales data from invoices.

Building on these findings, internal rebate approval procedures were redesigned and implemented. In addition, a web-based application was designed to collect pricing market intelligence from the global sales force as well as providing guidance for future pricing decisions. As a result, the company sucessfully increased its overall profit margin by about 2%.
